Hello again Blogger fans. I am finally getting around to updating my blog so all you fans out there can know what is going on. Without further ado here it is, the updated Chad: Just livin' the dream.

What a weekend it was. This weekend was one of the best weekends I have had in a long, long time. It was Christina's birthday on Friday and things worked out so that she could come down to Miami for the weekend. That was not the real reason she came down, but it just worked out that way. She was visiting UC on Friday and was going to the Music at Miami presentation for music majors on Saturday. We had made all these plans to go around campus then to ice skating, but those plans fell through. But that is ok, cause things worked out anyway. Christy was supposed to have the UC visit from 1-4 and then arrive here at Miami sometime between 4-5. I had a class from 3-3:45, and then I was going over to Loren's dorm to wait for Christy to call and say she had arrived. Well, Loren and I met her friend at 4:45 in order to go down and get Loren' car. We got her car and just sort of drove around, waiting for a call from Christy and Loren's mom. As it turns out, they wont get to Oxford before we get to them. It turns out that they get lost coming here from Cincinnati. Not only did they get lost, but there was an accident on the exit ramp that they needed to get off to come here. So while they sat in traffic, Loren and I headed to Colerain to meet them. On the way there Loren and I counted 44 and 1/2 cars waiting at the light on Patterson Ave. Way to many cars coming to Miami. So we met them and ate at the Olive Garden for dinner. Since it was Christy's birthday
we all went back to their hotel here in Oxford to celebrate, but not before Christy and I went to Kroger to get some ice cream. We all went back to their hotel room where we had cake and ice cream. Once we had our celebration, Chrisy and I came back to campus. I showed her around the best I could, even though it was a little dark. Then I gave Christy her birthday presents and we watched "The Dark Crystal". At about 11:45 pm we went over to the arches and kissed under the lamp at midnight. I know, I know, I am a romantic sap. I took her back to the hotel room and came back to my dorm and slept till like 12:30 pm. It was an awesome Friday. After Christy did her Music Day thing she was no longer so in love with UC as she was on Friday. I think she really likes Miami, but we will just have to see what happens. I am pretty sure I can sell Miami to her, but again, we will have to wait and see. After her music thing we got dinner at Alexander dining hall, and then she had to head back. It was one of the best weekends that I have had in very long time, but any weekend I spend with her is a great weekend.

A great weekend filled with friends and fun. This weekend I really was Chad: Just livin' the dream.
