Hello to all of my jillions and jillions of fans out there. Got a nice little post for you today, so here it is.
Today at band one of the most random events that I have ever witnessed occurred. The band was practicing and I think we were some place in the middle of "In the Stone" and all of a sudden this random guy walks onto the far side of the band field. As he is walking, he just fell face first into the ground. The band had to call the squad to come and take care of this random guy. If that was not enough, there was the ever present dumb asses in the band giving suggestions. Steve (dumb ass #1) went on and on last year about he was going to be an EMT. He talked about it so much that I swore if I heard those three letters together I was going to go crazy. So as soon as this guy went down, Steve was over there faster than the freakin' Flash. So now I am going to have to listen to him about how he is an EMT for then next week. If you think that is ridiculous, then the next dumb ass is going to kill you. So the bigger dumb ass was Mel. Now the thing about Mel is nobody, and I mean nobody likes her. She was so mean last year that we all called her "Mel the Bitch" or later, simply "The Bitch". She is so bad that her parents wish they could move and change the locks without telling her. So as dumb ass #1 (Steve) is attending to this random guy, Mel has a great idea which she decides to share with everyone. "The Bitch" proceeds to ask the director if the band has a "defibrillator because if it's his heart we need to use it". Now just when you think she can not say anything more ridiculous, she does. Then she adds the fact that if the band does not have one that we could "buy one because my daddy sells them". Now I do not know about anyone else, but I think that a statement like that is only deserving of one thing....A big SLAP in the face.
In other news, it really sucks to ride you bike across campus in the rain, because you end looking like a wet rat. Two days of band camp left...thank god for that. I don't know how much many more solid days of band that I can take. Anyway, that's enough for today. I leave you with my newest addition, the "Phrase of the Day"!
Friday's Phrase of the Day: Clusterfuck
This had been Chad: Just livin' the dream.
